How to read Market Radar

Understand HRJ Market Radar: closed-candle volume spikes, 4-hour HMA 200 bias, 1-hour RSI and available taker pressure.

What does the scanner measure?

HRJ Radar screens liquid USDT crypto pairs using Binance public market data. It first attempts futures data and can fall back to spot. The source label matters: futures and spot represent different markets, so check it before using a reading in a plan.

What does a 15-minute 2× volume spike mean?

The volume ratio compares the latest completed 15-minute candle’s quote volume with the mean of the previous 20 completed candles. A reading of 2× means that completed interval traded twice the comparison average. It describes relative activity, not how far price must move next.

Worked example

If the previous 20 candles average 2 million USDT and the latest closed candle trades 5 million USDT, the ratio is 2.5×. The next step is to inspect direction, pressure and price context—not assume the spike is a buy signal.

How is long or short bias assigned?

The HMA is calculated from completed four-hour candles. RSI uses Wilder RSI(14) on completed one-hour candles. The current price is compared with the four-hour HMA 200: above HMA with RSI below 50 matches the long-bias rule; below HMA with RSI above 50 matches the short-bias rule. Other combinations are sideways for these rules.

Bias is a condition filter. It does not provide a confirmed entry, stop or take-profit, and readings can change as price and completed candles update.

Is volume from buyers or sellers?

When fresh Binance taker-volume fields are available, the tool distinguishes aggressive buying from aggressive selling. Every executed trade has both a buyer and a seller: this split describes which side took liquidity. It is not proof that whales are accumulating or that all market participants agree.

How fresh is the data?

The main scan is scheduled every 60 seconds while its visibility rules allow it to run. Browser suspension, network restrictions, exchange limits or missing history can delay readings. A timestamp and stale/unavailable status are more useful than assuming that an open page always has a fresh result.

Prediction-market BTC odds shown alongside the scanner are sourced from Polymarket. They represent that market’s prices, not an HRJ forecast. Check the event window and source.
